Sleepy...

Jessie and Hobo were all curled up indoors on one wintry -40 degree celcius day. After a day of sitting and doing nothing sleepiness usually overtakes you.

I like the first picture. They look completely chilled out.

Snow

Believe it or not it was snowing in these pictures! The first snow of the year! Hobo actually had his nose pressed up against the door but I wasn't quick enough to catch it. It was adorable! So you can all see my attempts!
In the winter when my dad feeds the cows Hobo will come inside and wait for him to go outside. He'll whimper and whine and bounce around till dad finally goes out and gets the tractor. Its hilarious when you ask Hobo "Are you ready?". He barks and jumps to that! Our dogs just love their run to the cows!

Christmas for the Dogs

This was Christmas '07 actually. The black dog is no longer with us. :( He went to doggy heaven.

We were giving them their Christmas presents. They were a milkbone dipped in "dog friendly" icing! Tyler was trying to get Hobo to crawl for his, which he did.

Just in the Yard

After cleaning out the attic we had hauled out multiple items such as broken lamps, strange antiques, and this mattress. We left it on the lawn for less than a minute and Hobo had already made himself at home. (Not a surprise really..)

Baseball Dog

This was mostly posed but of course Jessie would be the one to steal our baseball! She thinks anything is something to catch as long as its throwable. The weirdest thing she thought was a toy? My camera.

Lounging in the Sun

The dogs were relaxing in the sun and laying so their bellies could soak up the rays while they lasted.

The Porch

I love Jessie's perked ears! They usually go up when you make the "Sss" sound really fast. I have no idea what triggers that reaction but the "Sss" sound is something that dog doesn't like!
