Mud Wrestling

This is yet another chapter in the "reach the swingset bar" challenge except in a WAY muddier version. Have you noticed how Hally is never in the middle? Well, according to Ace it's part of the game. He thinks he has to keep her out of the circle while trying to jump and reach the bar.
The one day he refused to play his game because Hally was out and about. He needed Hally to play the game if it only meant trying to keep her out of the circle. :)

Snow Play

Hally was having fun in the snow the other day and she just looked so cute! She was "attempting" to reach the top bar of the swing set. There were swings but the dogs got them so now they're new challenge is to reach the bar. Ironically enough, Ace is so close!

Chewing Bones

These bones aren't just for their entertainment. No, they're for their teething issues. The dreaded chewing dogs! If you leave them alone in the porch without a bone you'll end up losing a pair of shoes! So as you can see these are so important! Haha.

Chewin Bones

The dogs always seem to have a random bone and no one knows where they come from. It was probably one of the many we gave them which they recently found.
That reminds me of a time when Hobo had a bone and then he would all of a sudden take off. My brother and I decided to follow him secretly. Hobo buried it. We waited until he left and then unburied it. We ran around aimlessly until we found Hobo and gave him the bone again. He did the same thing except that he buried it somewhere else. We repeated this pattern for most of the day until we decided to let Hobo rest. It ended up somewhere in one of the fields. I'm sure it's been plowed, seeded and harvested by now!

Typical Winter Day

Today was a very normal, nothing out of the ordinary sort of day. Jessie was curled up in her favorite place. I'm almost sure that rug has been there so long it can't come off the ground.
Hobo was sitting and staring at the door, waiting for someone to look deep into his brown eyes and let him in.

Winter Evening

This was sort of spur of the moment pictures! I was actually trying to get the sunset in the background and my dogs were right there! I couldn't resist more pictures!

Sleepy...

Jessie and Hobo were all curled up indoors on one wintry -40 degree celcius day. After a day of sitting and doing nothing sleepiness usually overtakes you.
I like the first picture. They look completely chilled out.

Snow

Believe it or not it was snowing in these pictures! The first snow of the year! Hobo actually had his nose pressed up against the door but I wasn't quick enough to catch it. It was adorable! So you can all see my attempts!
In the winter when my dad feeds the cows Hobo will come inside and wait for him to go outside. He'll whimper and whine and bounce around till dad finally goes out and gets the tractor. Its hilarious when you ask Hobo "Are you ready?". He barks and jumps to that! Our dogs just love their run to the cows!
